HC Deb 26 July 1889 vol 338 c1429
COLONEL HUGHES (Woolwich)

I beg to ask the Secretary of State for War whether he can now state what action is proposed to be taken on the Report of the Select Committee on Workmen in Woolwich Arsenal and other Government establishments, entered from 1861 to 1870, being entitled to superannuation; and, whether, if legislation be required to carry out the recommendation of the Committee, such legislation will be proposed this Session?

* MR. E. STANHOPE

I regret that I am not yet able to make a statement on this subject. I am most anxious to expedite a decision, and when a decision is arrived at I will inform my hon. Friend.
