HC Deb 25 July 1889 vol 338 c1266
MR. CUNINGHAME GRAHAM (Lanark, N.W)

I beg to ask the First Lord of the Treasury if, after the recent expressions of opinion given at the Trades Unions Congresses in favour of eight hours being the limit of the working day, he can now promise to give a day before the end of the Session for the discussion of the Eight Hours Bill for Miners?

* MR. W. H. SMITH

I regret that I cannot give any more favourable answer than the one I have already given.
