HC Deb 24 July 1889 vol 338 c1181
SIR G. CAMPBELL (Kirkcaldy)

I beg to give notice that unless the Government very seriously re-consider their position in regard to violently imposing on Scotland the English Episcopal and Papistical institution of Good Friday, in utter disregard of the spirit and intent of the Act of Union, I will on an early day move—I will not say the repeal of the Union—but for such a re-arrangement of the relations between England and Scotland as shall make such an outrage impossible in the future.
