BLANE (Armagh, S.)I beg to ask the First Lord of the Treasury if the Government will consider the recommendations of the Report of the Local Government and Taxation Committee of the London County Council, that the burdens of all future loans for improvements should fall on owners of property as well as occupiers, with a view to carrying them into effect by legislation?
§ * MR. W. H. SMITHI have no knowledge of the recommendations referred to; but if the London County Council should see fit to introduce a Measure dealing with the question of loans for improvements, such Bill would be carefully considered by Her Majesty's Government.
