HC Deb 18 July 1889 vol 338 c733
MR. H J. WILSON (York, W. E., Holmfirth)

I beg to ask the First Lord of the Treasury whether he can state when the remaining Votes in Class II. will be taken.

THE FIEST LOED OF THE TEEASUEY (Mr. W. H. SMITH,) Strand, Westminster

I am not in a position to say when these Votes will be taken; but there is an understanding that due notice will be given for those interested in the discussion of them.

MR. SEXTON

I would ask whether the right hon. Gentleman has considered the inconvenience that will be caused to Irish Members if the Votes are put off until the fag end of the Session.

* MR. W. H. SMITH

We have no wish to do that; but I cannot now state on what day they will be taken next week.
