MR. MARJORIBANKS

I beg to ask the First Lord of the Treasury when it is proposed to appoint the Royal Commission promised by the Government to inquire into Crown rights to salmon fishings in Scotland?

A Commission will be appointed at once to inquire into the present exercise of Crown rights of salmon fishing in Scotland, and on the coast and in the sea adjacent thereto, and their effect on the preservation and supply of fish, and to report the evidence.
