HC Deb 15 August 1889 vol 339 c1354
MR. H. FARQUHARSON (Dorset, N.)

I beg to ask the First Lord of the Treasury, if the Government has come to any decision as to from what source compensation is to be paid in the future for cattle slaughtered owing to pleuropneumonia.

* MR. W. H. SMITH

I can only refer my hon. Friend to the answer I gave on the 15th ult. in reply to the hon. Members for South-East Essex and Saffron Walden, which was to the effect that the question would be considered during the recess.
