HC Deb 12 August 1889 vol 339 c1027
MR. T. M. HEALY

I beg to ask the Secretary to the Treasury what amount has Colonel Dopping, the Receiver appointed by the Irish Board of Works, paid in for the lands of Mr. Christopher Reynolds, Abbeylara, County Longford, which that body have taken in execution to satisfy the Inny drainage charge; and what is the amount now due to the Government, and how many years' assessment does it represent?

MR. JACKSON

Colonel Dopping, the Receiver in this case, was appointed by the Land Judge, and not by the Irish Board of Works. No money has yet been received by the Board of Works. The total amount due to the 5th of April, 1889, is £135, representing eight years' charge.
