HC Deb 06 August 1889 vol 339 c542
MR. MUNDELLA (Sheffield, Brightside)

I beg to ask the Vice President of the Committee of Council on Education whether any decision has been given by the Privy Council in the matter of Christ's Hospital; and what is the present position of the scheme of the Charity Commissioners relating thereto?

* THE VICE PRESIDENT OF THE COUNCIL (Sir W. HART DYKE, Kent, Dartford)

The appeals against the scheme for Christ's Hospital were heard by the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council towards the end of June. At the close of the hearing their Lordships reserved judgment, which has not yet been delivered. Further proceedings in regard to the scheme must await the delivery of that judgment.
