HC Deb 12 April 1889 vol 335 cc358-9
MR. PINKERTON (Galway)

asked the Postmaster General if he will grant a Return of towns in the Province of Ulster, having a population of 2,000 and upwards, in which there is no postal delivery on Sundays?

*MR. RAIKES

In reply to the question asked by the hon. Member, I can inform him that there are seven towns in Ulster which have no Sunday delivery by postmen, the delivery being to callers at the Post Office, namely Antrim, Ballymoney, Belfast, Londonderry, Newtownards, Portadown, and Ballymena.
