HC Deb 12 April 1889 vol 335 cc353-4
MR. GILHOOLY (Cork, W.)

asked the Postmaster General whether, in view of the growing importance of Schull as a fishing station, he would have arrangements made to keep the Telegraph Office there open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. during the fishing season?

*MR. RAIKES

In reply to the hon. Member, I have to say that inquiries are now being made on the subject to which he refers, and as soon as I receive the necessary Report, I shall be glad to consider whether some extension of the hours of attendance at the Telegraph Office can be conceded.
