HC Deb 27 November 1888 vol 331 cc326-7
SIR WILFRID LAWSON (Cumberland, Cockermouth)

asked the First Lord of the Treasury, Whether it was his intention to move the suspension of the Standing Order relating to the 12 o'clock Rule every night during the Session?

THE FIRST LORD (Mr. W. H. SMITH) (Strand, Westminister)

No, Sir. I do not intend to move the suspension of the Rule every night; but I am afraid that it will be necessary to move it so far as Committee of Supply is concerned.

MR. PICTON (Leicester)

asked whether the right hon. Gentleman would also revert to the practice of the House meeting at 4 o'clock?

[No reply.]
