HC Deb 23 November 1888 vol 331 cc31-2
SIR WILFRID LAWSON (Cumberland, Cockermouth)

asked the First Lord of the Treasury, Whether, in the arrangement of the Business for the remainder of the Session, he was able now to give a definite date when he would take the second reading of this Bill.

THE FIRST LORD (Mr. W. H. SMITH) (Strand, Westminster)

I am sure the hon. Baronet will see that I have entered into as many arrangements as I possibly can. I wish to meet the wishes and feelings of hon. Members as far as I possibly can; but I cannot go further than I have already done.
