HC Deb 23 November 1888 vol 331 c5
THE CHANCELLOR OF THE EXCHEQUER (Mr. GOSCHEN) (St. George's, Hanover Square)

asked the hon. Member for Waterford (Mr. R. Power) to postpone until Monday his Question with regard to the contract for post-cards, so as to allow him to communicate with the writer of a confidential letter which had been sent to him bearing on this subject. With regard to an answer given by him to the hon. Member for Preston (Mr. Hanbury) some days ago, to the effect that the present contract was for 10 years, he desired to explain that this included two years which had already elapsed.
