asked the President of the Board of Trade, Whether he is now able to communicate the names of the two lay Commissioners to be appointed under "The Railway Rates and Charges Act, 1888?"

I am able to inform the House that in accordance with the provisions of the Act of this year I have submitted the names of Sir Frederick Peel and Mr. Price as lay Commissioners, and Her Majesty has been pleased to approve of them.
