HC Deb 19 November 1888 vol 330 c1502
ADMIRAL MAYNE (Pembroke and Haverfordwest)

asked the First Lord of the Admiralty, Whether he will lay upon the Table the Report of the Committee on the pay and position of the signalmen in Her Majesty's Navy?

THE FIRST LORD (Lord GEORGE HAMILTON) (Middlesex, Ealing)

The recommendations of the Committee appointed to consider the question of improving the pay and position of the signal staff of the Navy have been approved and are being acted upon. I do not think it advisable to lay the Report of the Committee on the Table of the House.
