§ THE PRESIDENT (Mr. RITCHIE) (Tower Hamlets, St. George's)The 556 terms of Clause 8 of the Local Government Bill are, no doubt, very comprehensive; and when the clause is reached in Committee I shall be prepared to agree to its being made clear that it is not to extend to Boards of Guardians.
