asked the First Lord of the Treasury, Whether any steps have been taken, and, if so, what steps, for the purpose of providing accommodation for the physical laboratory in the Royal Normal School at South Kensington, in consequence of the appropriation of the site of the present temporary building by the authorities of the Imperial Institute?

The Office of Works is in communication with the Science and Art Department; and is about to report to the Treasury as to what arrangements can be made for providing accommodation for the physical laboratory.
