HC Deb 04 June 1888 vol 326 cc1147-8

(Mr. Attorney General.)

[BILL 263.] CONSIDERATION.

Order for Consideration read.

Motion made, and Question proposed, "That Consideration, as amended, be deferred till Thursday."

MR. HENRY H. FOWLER (Wolverhampton, E.)

said, seeing that obviously there would be no chance of taking the Bill on that day, he would ask that it should be postponed to some day when there would be a reasonable prospect of it coming on.

THE ATTORNEY GENERAL (Sir RICHARD WEBSTER) (Isle of Wight)

said, the postponement was merely pro formâ but he would confer with his right hon. Friend the First Lord of the Treasury, and communicate with the right hon, Gentleman.

Question put, and agreed to.

Consideration, as amended, deferred till Thursday.
