HC Deb 03 July 1888 vol 328 c202
MR. LABOUCHERE (Northampton)

asked the Postmaster General, Whether the whole of the letter carriers in the Provinces have been supplied with summer uniform; and, if not, what is the cause of the delay?

THE POSTMASTER GENERAL (Mr. RAIKES) (Cambridge University)

The whole of the town postmen in the Provinces have been supplied with their summer uniform, and the issue to the rural postmen will be completed by the end of next week. There has been no avoidable delay in the matter.
