HC Deb 11 December 1888 vol 331 c1764
MR. T. ROBINSON (Gloucester)

asked the President of the Board of Trade, Whether it is intended to proceed with the Weights and Measures Bill this Session; and, if so, when it is likely to be taken?

THE PRESIDENT (Sir MICHAEL HICKS-BEACH) (Bristol, W.)

I am very sorry I have been unable to proceed with this Bill in the present Session, in consequence of the opposition of a few hon. Members. I propose to re-introduce it at the earliest opportunity next Session.
