HC Deb 09 April 1888 vol 324 cc724-5
MR. WALLACE (Edinburgh, E.)

asked, When the Railway and Canal Traffic Bill would be proceeded with?

THE FIRST LORD OF THE TREASURY (Mr. W. H. SMITH) (Strand, Westminster)

I am unable to say, but I hope it may be taken soon. Perhaps I may add a word as to the course of Business. We have every hope that the Budget Resolutions will be agreed to by the House this evening. If it should not be the case, it will be our duty to ask for a Morning Sitting to-morrow to proceed with them.
