§ THE LORD ADVOCATE (Mr. J. H. A. MACDONALD) (Edinburgh and St. Andrew's Universities)proposed an addition to clause empowering the 485 Crofters Commission to deal with, and, if necessary, reduce claims on bills and promissory notes given in respect of arrears of rent.
§ MR. J. B. BALFOUR (Clackmannan, & c.)This clause, as proposed, will substantially accomplish the object I had in view, and I do not, therefore, propose to press my objection any further.
