asked the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, When the Report of the Commission to inquire into the working of the Land Act will be ready?

THE CHIEF SECRETARY (Sir MICHAEL HICKS-BEACH) (Bristol, W.)

, in reply, said, that the statement in the Queen's Speech to the effect that the Report of this Commission would be shortly ready was based on the authority of the Chairman of the Royal Commission; but he was unable to say at what date it would be published.
