ARTHUR O'CONNOR (Donegal, E.)asked the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, with reference to Culdaff Pier, If he will state upon what information he stated that the Piers and Harbours Commissioners had approved of the plan of the 1747 Board of works; and, whether he would ascertain what the opinion of the Inspectors of Fisheries is as to the extension of the pier?
§ THE CHIEF SECRETARY (Sir MICHAEL HICKS-BEACH) (Bristol, W.), in reply, said, that the hon. Member was under some misapprehension with regard to this matter; but if he would refer him further to the points complained of he would inquire into them.
§ MR. ARTHUR O'CONNORintimated that he would ask a further Question of the Secretary to the Treasury on the same subject.
