HC Deb 07 September 1886 vol 308 c1480
MR. LABOUCHERE (Northampton)

asked the Secretary of State for War, Whether he had seen a placard which had been circulated, setting forth that a Primrose League meeting would be held at Langworth, on the 9th of September, at which it was announced that a band of the Bedfordshire Regiment would be in attendance during the day; and whether the right hon. Gentleman would take steps to see that the Regulations in reference to military bands were carried out?

THE SECRETARY OF STATE (Mr. W. H. SMITH) (Strand, Westminster)

I have not seen the placard referred to, nor has the hon. Gentleman communicated it to me; but I shall certainly take care that the Regulations are complied with.
