BIGGAR (Cavan, W.)asked the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, Whether it is true that an appeal from the decision of the Sub-Commissioners of the Irish Land Court, given on the 11th April, 1883, in the case of Charles Kelly, of Ballintoy, county Antrim, tenant, is still pending; and, whether, considering the great loss that is being sustained by the tenant in consequence of the delay, he will give instructions to have the case disposed of at once?
§ THE PRESIDENT OF THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT BOARD (Mr. STANSFELD) (Halifax)(who replied) said, the appeal in this case was by the landlord. It was lodged on Tuesday last and listed forbearing yesterday, and therefore there had been no delay whatever.
