TOMLINSONasked the President of the Board of Trade, Whether Her Majesty's Government have any information with respect to an Act lately passed by the Parliament of Italy giving a bounty to Italian ships; and, whether they have any objection to lay on the Table a Copy of the Act with a translation?
§ THE PRESIDENT (Mr. E. STANHOPE)Yes, Sir; we have received a copy of the Act recently passed in Italy giving bounties to Italian shipping, and if my hon. Friend will move for it a translation of it shall be published. It may probably not be necessary to circulate the Italian version also.
