asked the Under Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Whether any arrangement has been arrived at with the Russian Government for the discussion and settlement of the questions which remain to be determined regarding the frontier of Afghanistan?

Her Majesty's Government have come to an arrangement with the Russian Government that the Com- mission, having completed the demarcation of the Afghan frontier as far as Dukchi, shall separate. As regards the remaining portion of the frontier, matters will remain in statu quo pending a settlement by the two Governments.
