asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department, If his attention has been called to an accident to the rope-drawing waggons on the South Hetton and Seaham Harbour Coal Railway Line, which occurred at Seaham Harbour on Wednesday, by which seven very young children were seriously injured; and, if he will inquire whether any precautions are taken to prevent children resorting for play to the neighbourhood of the line?
