COEBETasked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury, If he will lay upon the Table of the House a 100 Return showing the Pier and Harbour Works commenced since the Act 46 and 47 Vic. c. 26, became Law; the amount of the contract in each case; when no contract has been taken the amount sanctioned for each work; the amount expended up to the present time; the works sanctioned but not yet commenced; the amount of the contract in such cases; and the dates when the work is likely to be commenced?
§ MR. HIBBERTI think a Return to the general effect suggested would be useful, and that the 31st of this month would be a convenient date up to which to complete it. I will cause such a Return to be prepared accordingly.
