HC Deb 24 April 1885 vol 297 c647
MR. DEASY

asked the Postmaster Genera], Whether the Post Office authorities intend to make the alterations in the mail service to and from Kinsale which the Town Commissioners have suggested to them?

MR. SHAW LEFEVRE

The day mail to Kinsale is forwarded by the first available train, and the suggestion of the Town Commissioners could only be complied with by establishing a train specially for the Postal Service at a cost out of all proportion to the correspondence to be benefited. I regret, therefore, that it is not practicable to meet the wishes of the Commissioners.
