asked the Civil Lord of the Admiralty, Whether a promise was given that the Marines stationed at Suakin should be relieved every three months; and, if so, whether such promise has been kept?

, in reply, said, that he understood no promise was given that the Marines stationed at Suakin would be relieved every three months; but the detachment was re-relieved from the port of Suez as often as the exigencies of the Public Service would permit.
