HC Deb 21 November 1884 vol 294 c132
MR. JUSTIN M'CARTHY

asked the Secretary to the Treasury, Whether he is willing to lay upon the Table of the House the Report of the Treasury Remembrancer with regard to the Department of the Registry of Deeds, Dublin?

MR. COURTNEY

It is contemplated to appoint a Committee to inquire into this Department. If that be done, it may be matter for consideration whether their Report can be laid on the Table. But it would be out of place to make public any Report received from the Treasury Remembrancer, because it is a confidential document.
