HC Deb 20 May 1884 vol 288 cc838-9
MR. O'SULLIVAN

asked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury, Whether, under the 20 and 21 Vic. c. 60, the Bankruptcy. Court in Ireland are directed to invest all unclaimed dividends in the Public Funds; and, if so, why they have not invested the forty thousand pounds now lying derelict in that Court?

MR. COURTNEY

This fund, at the present time, stands at less than £10,000, and seems never to have been much in excess of that amount. The Act referred to does not direct investment of the fund, but only gives the Court power to invest.
