§ MR. COURTNEYWeekly Reports are received from all the Shannon sluices; and I am glad to say that their action throughout the winter has been attended with good results. The only complaints received have been to the effect that Hoods have not been put a stop to altogether; but a total 869 cessation of flooding could never be attained, and was never expected.
