asked the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland How many men of the ordinary police force of the county Waterford were off duty owing to illness or any other cause during the time the extra police force for the payment of which a presentment has just been sought, has been stationed in that county; what is the number of extra police there at present; and, why is it maintained?
