HC Deb 10 June 1884 vol 288 c1897
LORD EDMOND FITZMAURICE

The right hon. Gentleman the Member for Westminster (Mr. W. H. Smith) asked me yesterday, a Question about Admiral Hewett, which I said I would answer to-day. A message was received at Massowah on the 3rd instant from Admiral Sir William Hewett, in which he stated that he had had an interview with the King on the 27th of May, and that it was very satisfactory. The Admiral was expected to leave on his return journey to Massowah on the 1st instant.
