§ MR. EVELYN ASHLEYMr. Sendall was encouraged to hope that it would become possible to offer him employment as a Governor. The Secretary of State has not as yet been able to recommend him for such employment; but the matter has not been lost sight of, and Lord Derby will be glad if an opportunity of so employing him should occur.
