HC Deb 24 April 1884 vol 287 cc459-60
MR. SEXTON

asked the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, with reference to the case of George M'Cord, tenant, Sir Richard Wallace, landlord, If he will lay upon the Table a Copy of any available official records of the evidence taken and judgment given in the case by the Antrim Sub- Commission Court, and of the evidence taken and judgment given on the appeal of the tenant George M'Cord to the Court of the Irish Land Commission?

MR. TREVELYAN

The Land Commissioners inform me that there is no record of the evidence taken by the Sub-Commission Court, but that copies of the following documents can be furnished:—The order of the Sub-Commissioners; the evidence taken on the hearing of the appeal; the order of the Land Commissioners, and the Valuer's report made for the use of the Land Commissioners. There will be no objection to lay copies of these documents on the Table if the hon. Member wishes to move for them.
