HC Deb 04 April 1884 vol 286 c1651
MR. MOLLOY

asked the Secretary to the Treasury, If the Board of works in Ireland will construct a bridge over the New Cut or Auxiliary Channel at Victoria Lock, in connection with the Shannon Drainage works in the King's County; and, further, as the three provinces and three counties meet at Victoria Lock, if he will cause a few temporary bridges to be made across the small branches of the Shannon thence to Meelick?

MR. COURTNEY

I am afraid there are no funds at the disposal of the Government for this purpose.
