§ LORD EDMOND FITZMAURICEI regret to say that the reported outbreak of cholera at Damietta has been confirmed by intelligence received from Her Majesty's Consul at Alexandria, and up to yesterday about 180 deaths would appear to have taken place. Cases 1707 have also been reported at Mansourah and Port Said.
