TREVELYANThe infected farm is only half-a-mile from the town of Westport, and foot-and-mouth disease, though greatly diminished, still exists there; and His Excellency, therefore, fears that it would be dangerous just yet to remove the restrictions on the holding of fairs and markets in the town; but he hopes very soon to be able to do so.
