§ MR. CAMPBELL-BANNERMANSir, 280 steamers have been entered on the official Admiralty register as having complied with the regulations necessary for utilizing them as auxiliaries to the Navy. With regard to my hon. Friend's second Question, I have to say that measures have been adopted for the purpose referred to; but it would be hardly right to state them in detail.
