SIR ARTHUR HATTERNo pay is provided by the Regulations for a Colonel in the Army who holds no other commission. His Royal Highness the Duke of Cumberland and His Royal Highness the Duke of Albany are, like His Serene Highness the Duke of Teck, Colonels in the Army, but do not receive pay. There is, in fact, no pay attached to the rank of Colonel as such.
