HC Deb 22 May 1882 vol 269 c1257
BARON HENRY DE WORMS

asked the Postmaster General, Whether he has yet arrived at any decision with regard to the Petition of upwards of a thousand auxiliary letter carriers, which was sent to him on the 27th of May of last year?

MR. FAWCETT

In reply to the hon. Member I can only repeat the answer that I gave about a fortnight since—that I have been for some time in communication with the Treasury in reference to Memorials which I have received from letter-carriers, and that I hope shortly to be able to give effect to the decision which may be arrived at.
