HC Deb 18 May 1882 vol 269 cc957-8
MR. TOTTENHAM

asked, When the Arrears of Rent (Ireland) Bill would be circulated, and why it had not yet been circulated?

MR. GLADSTONE

I was in hopes that the Bill would have been circulated to-day, and it will, I believe, be circulated to-morrow. I may assure the hon. Member that he will find it to be a brief and comparatively simple measure, with the contents of which the House is already in some degree familiar from the provisions of the Bill of last year.
