asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department, If he will appoint a legal representative to attend the coroner's inquests at the Victoria Pit, Bruntcliffe, and at the Stratford Pit, Baxterly, where explosions occurred on the 2nd instant, by which several lives were lost, in order that a searching inquiry may be made into the cause of these disasters?
