asked the Vice President of the Council, Whether, under the New Code (Art. 109, G. IV.), it is intended that scholars who may choose to remain at school after passing Standard VII. should contribute to the Grant made to their school, either by their attendances (Art. 13), or by their passes on re-examination in Standard VII?

MR. MUNDELLA

, in reply, said, that it was the intention of the Department that scholars who remained at the school after passing Standard VII. should contribute to the Grant.

Are those attendances to be included in the average attendances?
