asked the First Lord of the Treasury, Whether, in relieving the ratepayers from the charge of maintaining main roads, it is his intention to include in such measure of relief the six counties of South Wales now administered under "The South Wales Roads Act, 1844," 7th and 8th Vic. c. 91?

, in reply, said, that the case of the six Welsh counties referred to by the hon. Member was peculiar, and would require special attention when the whole subject was considered.
